The Sweet Piece was the second collaboration between
myself and students of Coronado High School, a public
high school in San Diego County. It represents indigineous
sea life found in the San Diego area. Acting as teacher
and facilitator, I oversaw each step of the process from conception
through grouting to help the students create a permanent mosaic for
their new campus.
